Mission Statement

Days for Girls International is an NGO that works to increase access to menstrual care & education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women, girls, and all people who menstruate. Together, we're creating a world with dignity, health, and opportunity for all.

DFGI envisions a world where menstruation is never a barrier to health, education, or opportunity. We strive to eliminate the stigma and limitations associated with menstruation and work to ensure that menstrual health is universally understood, respected, and supported. DFGI turns periods into pathways.

Days for Girls at UCLA advocates for and aids those who face limitations due to menstruation. We aim to raise awareness about the challenges surrounding menstrual equity and actively serve those in need through hands-on community service.

We hope to empower students to serve and educate our communities and beyond, breaking the silence around menstruation and shifting the narrative from disgrace to dignity. We provide a platform where marginalized voices can be heard and represented, uniting all people— of varying sexual orientations, cultures, ethnicities, and genders— to build a safe and healthy community.
